Prince's new album 'Planet Earth'
'Planet Earth', Prince's new disc has been in and out of my playlist for a week or so now.
It wasn't for lack of exposure - juno is a huge fan. I never bought any Prince albums before because it didn't interest me.
The album strikes a chord everytime I play it.
I'm not sure why people bother with hidden tracks, this CD has one too.

A reasonably pleasant movie
I went to see 'Two for the Money'. Anyway it was pleasant.

After suffering a career-ending injury, a former college football star (McConaughey) aligns himself with one of the most renown bookies (Pacino) in the sports-gambling business.
That is pretty much the story of the movie

The direction (by D.J. Caruso) was ok. Al Pacino's performance is entertaining. Al Pacino gave a rather cool performance too.

Prince
Just bought and listened to the new Prince album. Planet Earth is a nice RNB album.

I'll have to investigate Prince further.

OK
Washington Times: In a flip-flop that surprised none of his supporters, Kerry's claim to meeting with Security Council members prior to vote has been proven false.

At the office
I heard from remco last Thurday that AccountEngine will be finished next week at work. I'll be working on the new MBT. This week I was briefed that I have to keep working on the AccountEngine and cannot start with MBT next Friday. They are in debt in the millions. Oh well.

My insights and suggestions had made a positive impression on the AccountEngine group.

'Elizabethtown': a decent picture
Elizabethtown is pleasant.
Cameron Crowe's direction was rather gratifying and the soundtrack is enjoyable. The movie had some really defiant moments as well.

It's worth the price of an admission ticket and a medium popcorn.

A terribly silly movie
I saw 'The Curse of the Were-Rabbit starring Wallace & Gromit' last saturday. Anyway it is a very silly movie.
Ralph Fiennes and Peter Sallis are terribly overrated.

Ben Maller
There's a very fascinating item at Ben Maller. The outcome of Washington Redskins games has correctly predicted the winner of every U.S. presidential election since 1936.
